Dear User, thank you for trusting and using Barkatealliance's products and services. We have recently updated Barkatealliance's Privacy Policy. This update focuses on how Barkatealliance obtains your information from third parties and the content of information sharing. Please read carefully and fully understand the relevant terms.

Introductory Clauses

Your trust is very important to us. We fully understand the importance of personal information to you (the content of personal information and personal sensitive information referred to in this policy is derived from the national standard GB/T35273 "Information Security Technology - Personal Information Security Specification"). This policy applies to all products and services provided by the Barkatealliance website. For users under the age of 14, both this policy and the "Children's Privacy Protection Statement" apply. If the products or services of our affiliated companies use the products or services of the Barkatealliance platform (for example, logging in with a Barkatealliance platform account) but do not have an independent privacy policy, then this policy also applies to that product or service.

It is particularly stated that this policy does not apply to services provided to you by other independent third parties, nor does it apply to products or services within the Barkatealliance platform that have separately established legal statements and privacy policies. For example, when a third party provides services to you relying on this platform on the Barkatealliance platform, the personal information you provide to the third party does not apply to this privacy policy. Barkatealliance does not assume any responsibility for any use of the information provided by you by any third party.

Before using any product or service of the Barkatealliance platform, please be sure to read this policy carefully and thoroughly understand it, especially the terms marked in bold/bold and underline. You should focus on reading these and use the relevant products or services only after confirming full understanding and agreement. Once you start using any product or service of the Barkatealliance platform, it means that you have fully understood and agreed to this policy.

Part 1 Definitions

Barkatealliance Platform: Refers to the Barkatealliance website (with the domain name https://barkatealliance.top) and its client applications.

Barkatealliance Platform Services: Refers to the various services provided to you by Barkatealliance via the internet, including the Barkatealliance Platform website, client applications, and other forms (including new service forms arising from future technological developments).

Barkatealliance Platform Service Provider: Barkatealliance and its affiliates.

Barkatealliance Platform Rules: Include all rules, interpretations, announcements, etc., published within all Barkatealliance Platform websites, as well as various rules, implementation details, product descriptions, announcements, etc., published in various channels, activity pages, forums, etc., on the Barkatealliance Platform.

User: Hereinafter referred to as "You" or "User," means any individual or organization that registers, logs in, uses, browses, or obtains services under this policy.

Personal Information: Refers to various information recorded electronically or in other ways that can identify a specific natural person's identity alone or in combination with other information, or reflect the activities of a specific natural person, including the natural person's name, date of birth, ID number, personal biometric information, address, telephone number, etc.

1. How Barkatealliance Collects and Uses Information

When you use our products and/or services, we need/may need to collect and use your personal information in the following two ways:

  1. Necessary information that you need to authorize us to collect and use in order to provide the basic functions of our products and/or services. If you refuse to provide the corresponding information, you will not be able to use our products and/or services normally.

  2. Information that you can choose to authorize us to collect and use in order to provide the additional functions of our products and/or services. If you refuse to provide it, you will not be able to use the relevant additional functions normally or achieve the intended functional effects, but it will not affect your normal use of the basic functions of our products and/or services.

(1) Collection and Use of Basic Function Information

  1. When you register and log in to a Barkatealliance account, you need to provide us with the following information: account name, avatar (if any), and mobile phone number (for real-name authentication). By providing the above information and agreeing to the "User Registration Agreement" and this policy, you can use Barkatealliance to watch live content and post bullet chat messages. If you choose not to provide the necessary information for realizing the basic business functions of Barkatealliance or the necessary information for using a certain type of function, it will result in our inability to provide you with the service.

  2. When you register for a Barkatealliance account, we will require you to provide a mobile phone number for real-name authentication. If you refuse to provide a mobile phone number for real-name verification, registration will be unsuccessful, and therefore you cannot use the information publishing functions. However, you can exit the registration page and watch live broadcasts as a "guest".

  3. Browsing and Following functions. The content you can browse includes anchor live rooms, anchor forums, Barkatealliance on-demand videos, and Barkatealliance audio. During browsing, you can also follow anchors and users you are interested in. For this purpose, we will collect your device information when using Barkatealliance (including device model, unique device identifier, operating system version, network device hardware address MAC, and other software and hardware characteristic information). We will also collect your browser type to provide you with the optimal page display solution.

  4. Information Publishing function. After registering as a Barkatealliance user, you can send bullet chats in live rooms, publish forum posts, comment on other users' forum content, and send messages in Barkatealliance team groups. In this process, we will collect your device information, browser type, and log information.

(2) Collection and Use of Additional Function Information

  1. Additional functions based on camera. You can use this function for scanning QR codes for login, payment, taking photos or videos for upload and sharing, and face recognition functions authorized by you in specific scenarios after enabling the camera permission. When you use this additional function for face recognition, we will collect your facial features and strictly use them within the scope authorized and agreed by you.

  2. Additional functions for picture/video access and upload based on the photo album (image library/video library). You can use related functions to upload your photos/images/videos after enabling the permission, to achieve functions such as changing avatars and publishing posts.

  3. Additional functions based on microphone voice technology. You can use the microphone for voice chat or recording after enabling the microphone permission. In this process, we will collect your recording content. Please note that even if you have agreed to enable the microphone permission, we will only obtain voice information through the microphone when you actively click the microphone icon within the client.

  4. Location function. When you enable the device location function and use the location-based related services provided by Barkatealliance, we will obtain the location information of the device (including IP address, GPS location, and sensor information such as WLAN access points, Bluetooth, and base stations that can provide relevant information).

  5. Anchor identity authentication service. When you apply to become an anchor on the Barkatealliance platform, according to legal and regulatory requirements, Barkatealliance will authenticate and verify your personal information. Therefore, when you apply to become a Barkatealliance platform anchor, we need to collect your real name, gender, age, nationality, IP address, ID number, facial feature information, email address, and phone number.

  6. Search. When you use Barkatealliance's search service, we will collect your related search keyword information and log records. To provide efficient search services, part of the aforementioned information will be temporarily stored on your local storage device, and we may show you search results and search history.

  7. Customer service. When you file a complaint, appeal, or consult with Barkatealliance, in order to facilitate contact with you or help you solve problems, we may need you to provide your name, mobile phone number, and email. If you refuse to provide the above information, we may not be able to provide feedback on complaints, appeals, or consultation results in a timely manner.

  8. Payment function. You can purchase virtual gifts, membership value-added services, etc., on Barkatealliance. During your payment process, we may collect your third-party payment accounts, such as Alipay account, WeChat Pay account, PayPal account, or other forms of bank card information. If you enable fingerprint payment, we may also need to collect your biometric information for payment verification.

  9. Security assurance. In order to improve the security of the services provided by us, our affiliated companies, and partners, protect the personal and property safety of you, other users, or the public from damage, and better prevent security risks such as phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, network attacks, and network intrusion, we will collect necessary information to achieve security assurance functions. We may use or integrate your account information, transaction information, device information, service log information, and the information obtained by our affiliated companies and partners with your authorization or in accordance with the law to comprehensively judge the transaction risks of your account, perform identity verification, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary recording, auditing, analysis, and disposal measures.
    (1) To ensure the secure operation of the software and services, we will collect your device information (including device model, unique device identifier, operating system version, network device hardware address MAC, and other software and hardware characteristic information), device location information (including IP address, GPS location, and sensor information such as WLAN access points, Bluetooth, and base stations that can provide relevant information), network access method, type, status, network quality data, operations, usage, and service logs.
    (2) For the necessity of preventing malicious programs and security operations, we will collect installed application information or running process information, the overall operation, usage and frequency of applications, application crash situations, overall installation and usage, performance data, and application sources.
    (3) We may use your account information, transaction information, device information, service log information, and the information that our affiliates and partners are authorized to share or legally can share to judge account security, perform identity verification, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary recording, auditing, analysis, and disposal measures.

  10. Targeted推送. We will, based on the collected information, analyze your preferences, habits, and location characteristics or create user profiles, in order to provide you with more suitable customized services. For this purpose, we need to collect your device information, browser model, list of applications installed on the device, and log information.
    The aforementioned log information includes:
    (1) Your operation and usage behavior information: clicks, follows, favorites, searches, browsing, sharing;
    (2) Information you actively provide: feedback, rewards, published information (such as bullet chats, forum posts);
    (3) Device location information: IP address, GPS location, and sensor information such as WLAN access points, Bluetooth, and base stations that can provide relevant information. GPS geographic location is personal sensitive information. If you refuse to provide it, we will not push content to you based on GPS information, and it will not affect the normal use of other Barkatealliance functions.
    Unless we obtain your authorization or otherwise provided by laws and regulations, we will not combine the above information with any personal identity information you provide in the application to ensure that you cannot be personally identified. We may combine the above information with other non-identity information collected from our services, use algorithm programs for feature and preference analysis, and perform indirect population profiling based on feature tags, in order to recommend, display, or push specific functions or services that you may be interested in or that are more suitable for you.
    (1) Display, recommend, or push live broadcasts, audio, and videos that are more relevant to you. However, you can turn off the "Recommended for You" service via [Follow Page → Settings Management → Recommendation Management].
    (2) Recommend personalized advertisements that are more relevant to you. Personalized advertisements can reduce the intrusion of irrelevant advertisements. You can click here to learn about and manage the content of personalized advertisements.

  11. Subscription reminder service. When you use the scheduled broadcast function for events or live broadcast activities on Barkatealliance Live, we will request authorization to access/write to your calendar, so that we can record and notify you of the live broadcast start time. We will not access or change the content in your calendar unrelated to Barkatealliance Live.

  12. Marketing activities. We will hold online or offline marketing activities from time to time. In such marketing activities, we may need users to provide identity information or shipping information so that we can provide ticketing services or send gifts. In cases involving Barkatealliance paying you, we may need to collect your identity information for tax withholding purposes.

(3) Information from Third Parties

  1. Third-party account authorization
    (1) When you choose to log in to Barkatealliance with a third-party account, you can choose to authorize Barkatealliance to read and obtain the public information you have registered, published, or recorded on that third-party platform (including nickname and avatar). Barkatealliance needs your authorization to obtain the above information from the third party in order to remember your login identity as a Barkatealliance user and to provide you with better products and/or services. We will only collect and use your personal information within the scope of your authorization and consent.
    After you register or log in using a third-party account, your third-party account will be bound to your Barkatealliance account, but you can choose to unbind the account in [Settings → Account Binding Settings].
    (2) When you choose to authorize the binding of your Barkatealliance account and related game account, we will obtain the nickname, avatar information, and operation information in your game account, specifically including your login status, match status, achievement information, etc. You authorize the platform to display this information to you, other users, or friends. For the purpose of optimizing user experience, the above information will be used in live rooms, lists, recommendations, search scenarios, and in the form of data application products.
    After your Barkatealliance account is bound to your game account, you can reset it in the Barkatealliance mobile client [Live Settings → Live Category → Game Account Binding] or Barkatealliance Live Companion [Tools → Game Account Binding].

  2. Information shared by other users that contains your information.

(4) Sensitive Information
Before providing Barkatealliance with any personal information that belongs to sensitive information, please clearly consider that such provision is appropriate and agree that your personal sensitive information can be processed for the purposes and in the manner described in this policy.
We will collect and use your sensitive information with your consent to achieve functions related to Barkatealliance's business, and allow you to choose to disagree with the collection and use of these sensitive information. However, refusing to use this information will affect your use of related functions.

(5) Exceptions to Obtaining Authorization and Consent
In the following circumstances, we may collect and use some necessary personal information without obtaining your authorization and consent:

  1. Directly related to national security and national defense security;

  2. Directly related to public security, public health, and major public interests;

  3. Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments, etc.;

  4. For protecting the life, property, and other major legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals, but where it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person;

  5. The personal information collected is disclosed to the public by yourself;

  6. Collecting your personal information from legally publicly disclosed information, such as legal news reports, government information disclosure, and other channels;

  7. Necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract according to your requirements;

  8. Necessary for the safe and stable operation of Barkatealliance's products and/or services, for example, discovering and handling product or service failures;

  9. Necessary for legal news reports;

  10. Necessary for academic research institutions to carry out statistics or academic research in the public interest, and when providing the results of academic research or description to the outside, the personal information contained in the results is de-identified;

  11. Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
    If we stop operating Barkatealliance products or services, we will promptly stop continuing to collect your personal information, notify you of the suspension of operations by delivery or announcement, and delete or anonymize the personal information we hold related to the discontinued business.

2. How Barkatealliance Shares, Transfers, and Publicly Discloses Information

(1) Sharing
Barkatealliance undertakes a confidentiality obligation for your information and will not sell or rent any of your information, except in the following cases:

  1. Sharing under statutory circumstances: We may share your personal information externally as required by laws and regulations, litigation, dispute resolution needs, or as requested by administrative or judicial organs according to law.

  2. Sharing with explicit consent: After obtaining your explicit consent, we will share your personal information with other parties.

  3. To the extent required or permitted by law, it is necessary to provide your personal information to a third party in order to protect the interests, property, or safety of Barkatealliance, its users, or the public from damage.

  4. Sharing with affiliates: In order to facilitate our provision of products or services to you based on the Barkatealliance platform account, recommend information that may interest you, and identify account abnormalities, your personal information may be shared with our affiliates and/or their designated service providers. We will only share necessary personal information and be bound by the purposes stated in this privacy policy. If we share your personal sensitive information or if the affiliate changes the purpose of use and processing of personal information, we will seek your authorization and consent again.

  5. Sharing with authorized partners: In order to provide you with more complete and high-quality products and services, we may entrust authorized partners or use third-party SDK related technologies to provide you with services or perform functions on our behalf. We will only share your information for the legal, legitimate, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes stated in this privacy policy. Partners can only access the information necessary for them to perform their duties and must not use this information for any other purpose.
    Currently, our authorized information sharing includes the following:
    (1) Shared information for realizing functions or services
    a. When you use functions provided by our affiliates or third parties within Barkatealliance, or when software service providers, smart device providers, system service providers jointly provide services with us, we will share the information necessary to achieve the business with these affiliates and third parties for comprehensive statistics and algorithm-based feature and preference analysis, forming indirect population profiles, to recommend, display, or push information you may be interested in, or push specific functions, services, or commercial advertisements that are more suitable for you.
    b. Logging in and binding other accounts: When you use your Barkatealliance account to log in to third-party products or services, or bind your Barkatealliance account with other third-party accounts, with your consent, we will share your nickname, avatar, and other information you authorize with the aforementioned products or services.
    c. After you choose to allow published information to be synchronized to our affiliates' or third parties' products or services, Barkatealliance may use SDK or related technologies to share published content, comments, and other information with the providers of these products or services.
    d. Mini Programs: When you use mini programs, we will not share your personal information with these developers or operators without your consent. When you use mini programs, the mini program may use the relevant system permissions you have authorized. You can withdraw the authorization within the mini program.
    e. Location-based services: When you use location-related services, we will share device location information with location service providers through SDK or related technologies so that location results can be reflected to you. The content includes: IP information, GPS information, WLAN access points, Bluetooth, and base station sensor information. GPS information is personal sensitive information. Refusing to provide it will only affect the geographic location service function but will not affect the normal use of other functions.
    f. Payment function: The payment function is provided to you by third-party payment institutions cooperating with us. The third-party payment institution may need to collect your name, bank card type and number, expiration date, and mobile phone number. Bank card number, expiration date, and mobile phone number are personal sensitive information. This information is necessary for the payment function. Refusing to provide it will result in your inability to use this function but will not affect the normal use of other functions.
    g. In order to adapt the message push function to the terminal device model you use, we may share mobile phone model, version, and related device information with terminal device manufacturers through SDK and other technologies.
    h. Free data services: When you use communication package services launched by some operators and use our products, you may need to provide device information, mobile phone number, operator, device system version, and software installation list.
    (2) Shared information for realizing advertising-related functions
    a. Advertising push: We may share indirect profile tags that do not identify your personal identity and de-identified device information, anonymized browsing records, search habits, and commonly used software application list information with partners who entrust us with promotion and advertising placement, to help them improve the effective reach rate of advertisements without identifying your personal identity.
    b. Advertising statistics: We may share analyzed de-identified device information or statistical information with service providers, suppliers, and other partners of the business. This information is difficult or impossible to associate with your true identity. This information will help us analyze and measure the effectiveness of advertisements and related services.
    (3) Shared information for realizing security and analysis statistics
    a. Ensuring usage security: We attach great importance to account, service, and content security. In order to protect the account and property security of you and other users, and to protect the legitimate rights and interests of you and us from illegal infringement, we and our affiliates or service providers may share necessary device information, device location-related information, log information, application information or running process information, the overall operation, usage and frequency of applications, application crash situations, overall installation and usage, performance data, and application sources.
    b. Analyzing product usage: In order to analyze the usage of our services and improve the user experience, we may share statistical data on product usage (crashes, flash exits) with affiliates or third parties. This data is difficult to combine with other information to identify your personal identity.
    c. Academic research and scientific research: In order to enhance scientific research capabilities in related fields and promote the level of technological development, while ensuring data security and legitimate purposes, we may share de-identified or anonymized data with scientific research institutions, universities, etc.
    (4) Helping you participate in marketing promotion activities
    When you choose to participate in relevant marketing activities held by us, our affiliates, or third parties, you may need to provide name, communication address, contact information, and bank account information. This information is personal sensitive information. Refusing to provide it may affect your participation in relevant activities but will not affect other functions. Only with your consent will we share this information with affiliates or third parties to ensure that you receive a consistent service experience in joint activities, or entrust a third party to redeem rewards for you in a timely manner.

(2) Transfer
Barkatealliance will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following cases:

  1. After obtaining your explicit consent, we will transfer your personal information to other parties;

  2. In the event of merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation of the Barkatealliance Platform service provider, or other situations involving merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation, if personal information transfer is involved, we will require the new company or organization holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this policy. Otherwise, we will require that company, organization, or individual to seek your authorization and consent again.

(3) Public Disclosure
Barkatealliance will only publicly disclose your personal information under the following circumstances:

  1. With your explicit consent or based on your active choice, we may publicly disclose your personal information;

  2. If we determine that you have violated laws and regulations or seriously violated relevant agreements and rules of the Barkatealliance Platform, or to protect the personal and property safety of Barkatealliance Platform users or the public from infringement, we may disclose your personal information in accordance with the law or with your consent.

(4) Exceptions to Prior Authorization and Consent for Sharing, Transferring, and Publicly Disclosing Personal Information
In the following circumstances, sharing, transferring, or publicly disclosing your personal information does not require prior authorization and consent:

  1. Related to national security and national defense security;

  2. Related to public security, public health, and major public interests;

  3. Related to crime investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution, etc., for judicial or administrative law enforcement purposes;

    Please note that if we take technical measures and other necessary measures to process personal information, making the data recipient unable to re-identify a specific individual and unable to restore it, then the sharing, transfer, and public disclosure of such processed data does not require separate notification to you and your consent.

3. Use of Cookies

To make your visit easier, when you visit the Barkatealliance Platform website or use the services provided by the Barkatealliance Platform, Barkatealliance may use small data files to identify your identity. This is to save you the step of repeatedly entering registration information or to help determine the security of your account.     We may set authentication and security assurance Cookies or anonymous identifiers to confirm whether you have logged into the service safely or have encountered theft, fraud, and other illegal activities.   2. Helping you get a easier access experience
    Using such technologies can help you avoid the steps and processes of repeatedly filling in personal information and entering search content.

  3. Recommending, displaying, and pushing live broadcasts or accounts you may be interested in
    We may use such technologies to understand your preferences and usage habits. The information collected includes your device information, browsing information, click information, and this information is stored as log information for data analysis to improve product services, recommend information or functions that users are interested in, and optimize your choice of advertisements. At the same time, we may also use third-party SDKs to achieve the above collection and use.
    In the sharing pages of Barkatealliance, we may use Cookies to record browsing activities for recommending information to you and troubleshooting crashes, delays, and other abnormal situations, as well as exploring better service methods.
    Barkatealliance reminds you that most browsers provide users with the function of clearing browser cache data. You can perform corresponding data clearing operations in the browser settings function. If you perform clearing, you may not be able to use the services or corresponding functions provided by us that rely on Cookies.

4. Information Storage

The personal information we collect and generate during our operations within the People's Republic of China is stored within China. We will not transfer your personal information across borders.
We promise to retain your personal information only for the shortest time necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy. However, in the following circumstances, we may change the storage time of personal information due to the need to comply with legal requirements:

  1. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, for example, Article 21, Paragraph 3 of the "Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China" requires that technical measures for monitoring and recording network operation status and network security incidents retain network logs for not less than six months;

  2. To comply with the provisions of court judgments, rulings, or other legal procedures;

  3. To comply with the requirements of government agencies or legally authorized organizations;

  4. Reasonably necessary for the execution of the Barkatealliance Platform agreement or this policy, maintaining social public interests, and protecting the personal safety or other legitimate rights and interests of Barkatealliance and Barkatealliance affiliated companies, other users, or employees.
    After the retention period of your personal information expires, we will delete your personal information or anonymize it.

5. How Barkatealliance Protects Your Information

To ensure the security of your information, Barkatealliance has adopted various reasonable and feasible physical, electronic, and managerial security measures that comply with industry standards to protect your information from leakage, damage, or loss, including but not limited to deploying host intrusion detection systems, encrypting the storage of important sensitive data, and security auditing of log records.
Barkatealliance has adopted strict management measures for employees who may have access to your information, including but not limited to adopting different permission controls according to different positions, signing confidentiality agreements with them, and monitoring their operating conditions. Barkatealliance will provide corresponding security measures in accordance with existing technology to protect your information, provide reasonable security guarantees, and Barkatealliance will strive to ensure that your information is not leaked, damaged, or lost.
Your account has security protection functions. Please keep your account and password information properly. Barkatealliance will ensure that your information is not lost, abused, or altered through security measures such as backing up to other servers and encrypting user passwords.
